Finham Park School is delighted to announce that, following a rigorous benchmarking exercise by the Department for Education (DfE), Russell Plester has been appointed to the post of Headteacher Designate of ‘Finham Park 2’, the new secondary Free School which has been pre-approved by the DfE to open in September 2015. The school, which will open to an initial cohort of 120 year 7 pupils, will be a four form entry school for children aged 11-18 years located in the South West of Coventry, though the exact site is still to be announced. Mr Plester, who will officially take up his new post on 1st January 2015, is currently Deputy Headteacher at Finham Park School on Green Lane.
