Dress Code

Guidance

• You are representing Finham Park 2 and how you present yourself should reflect our values both internally and externally.
• Be respectful. Dress appropriately for your subjects, your environment and what you are doing each day.
• Please remember this is a school not a college, meaning certain attire which may be acceptable in college, may not be allowed.

Acceptable Attire

• Trousers, skirt or dress of appropriate length.
• Smart shirt and tie, blouse or top that is business appropriate
• Shoes must be formal and smart – no trainers or canvas shoes or boots
• Jacket or smart blazer recommended.
• Jumper or cardigan must be smart and plain – no hoodies

Accessories

Piercings – Maximum one stud per ear. No other visible piercings or spacers

Hair – natural hair colour, no extreme unnatural hair styles

Make up – Must look natural and not applied to excess

Tattoos – must not be on show

Coats – no denim

Belts – Smart leather or faux leather

Examples of UNACCEPTABLE clothing

• Leggings or exercise wear (unless doing practical PE)
• Shorts, mini skirts, skorts, short dresses
• Sweatpants, sweatshirts, tracksuits, polo shirts or tee shirts
• Jeans or any kind of denim clothing
• Halterneck or strapless tops, open back tops or dresses, vest tops
• Sheer, see through, low cut tops
• Leather or faux leather clothing
• Trainers, flip flops, crocs, sliders etc
• Head gear – no baseball caps or hats in lessons.
• Earbuds or headphones
• Ripped or distressed clothing
