The Pupil Premium is additional funding for schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.
Pupil Premium at Finham Park 2:
Our intention is that all students at Finham Park 2, irrespective of their background or the challenges they may face, make excellent progress and achieve high attainment across the curriculum. The focus of our pupil premium strategy is to support disadvantaged pupils to achieve their goals. We want to ensure that any barriers to students’ learning are removed and that all students can achieve the best possible outcomes and successfully progress into post-16 studies.
Our Key Objectives
Our approach will be driven by data and not assumptions. The whole school focus on data driven instruction and responsive teaching will ensure:
- Disadvantaged students are challenged in every lesson and make excellent progress
- Timely interventions are put in place when identified through data reviews
- All staff take responsibility for the outcomes of disadvantaged students and champion their success.
